Recently，　the　2026　China　Circum－East　Lake　International　Paddling　Open　kicked　off　in　the　East　Lake　Scenic　Area　of　Wuhan．　The　Chibi　Youth　Water　Sports　Center　selected　20　athletes　to　participate　in　the　competition．　In　the　fierce　competition　among　over　600　domestic　and　international　experts，　they　achieved　an　outstanding　result　of　4　golds，　3　silvers　and　3　bronzes，　totaling　10　medals．

The　outstanding　achievements　in　this　international　competition　are　the　rich　fruits　of　Chibi　City＇s　in－depth　efforts　in　cultivating　youth　water　sports　and　promoting　the　integration　of　sports　and　education．　Since　the　establishment　of　the　Chibi　Youth　Water　Sports　Center　in　2021，　the　local　government　has　been　continuously　increasing　its　investment　in　the　development　of　water　sports　for　teenagers，　building　professional　training　platforms，　establishing　dedicated　water　training　bases，　hiring　national－level　coaching　teams　and　having　event　champions　serve　as　technical　advisors，　and　assembling　high－quality　teaching　staff　to　lay　a　solid　professional　foundation　for　specialized　training　for　teenagers．

In　recent　years，　Chibi　has　created　a　three－in－one　training　model　of　＂sports　＋　safety　＋　education＂，　which　breaks　down　the　barriers　between　school　physical　education　and　professional　training，　regularly　carries　out　public　welfare　water　courses，　skills　training，　and　practical　teaching　of　water　safety　rescue，　and　insists　on　promoting　physical　training，　skill　refinement，　and　emergency　avoidance　training　simultaneously，　so　that　teenagers　can　master　self－rescue　and　mutual　rescue　skills　while　honing　their　competitive　skills．

With　a　systematic　and　regular　training　system，　the　Chibi　Youth　Water　Sports　Team　has　made　continuous　breakthroughs．　Following　the　outstanding　achievements　at　the　2025　Asian　Cup　International　Paddling　Championship，　Chibi　has　once　again　shone　brightly　in　high－level　international　events，　continuously　enhancing　the　brand　of　water　sports　for　youth　in　Chibi．　（Xianning　Daily／Jian　Bo）
