On　September　18th，　2026，　the　＂Belt　and　Road＂　Cross－Strait　（Hubei）　Tea　Culture　Exchange　Activity　was　officially　launched　in　Chibi．　This　event，　with　tea　as　the　medium　and　culture　as　the　bridge，　will　deeply　explore　the　profound　tea　culture　that　shares　the　same　roots　and　origin　across　the　Taiwan　Strait，　build　a　regular　platform　for　exchanges　and　cooperation，　promote　complementary　advantages　and　coordinated　development　of　the　tea　industry　between　Hubei　and　Taiwan，　and　continue　to　write　a　new　chapter　of　mutual　unity　and　win－win　economic　and　trade　cooperation　among　compatriots　on　both　sides　of　the　strait．

The　event　brought　together　industry　representatives，　business　elites　and　young　people　from　both　sides　of　the　Taiwan　Strait．　A　total　of　over　100　guests　attended，　including　the　Taiwan　tea　culture　exchange　delegation，　Taiwanese　businesspeople　and　young　people　in　Hubei，　as　well　as　the　heads　of　key　tea　enterprises　in　Xianning　and　Chibi．　At　the　opening　ceremony，　several　tea　enterprises　from　Taiwan　and　Hubei　Qing　Zhuan　Tea　Industry　Development　Group　signed　strategic　cooperation　framework　agreements，　laying　the　foundation　for　in－depth　cooperation　in　the　tea　industry　across　the　Taiwan　Strait．

The　Chibi　Yangloudong　is　the　core　source　of　the　Ten－Thousand－Mile　Tea　Road．　In　2026，　the　regional　public　brand　value　of　＂Chibi　Qing　Zhuan　Tea＂　reached　5.645　billion　yuan，　ranking　first　among　tea　brands　in　Hubei　Province　for　six　consecutive　years．　During　the　event，　guests　from　both　sides　of　the　Taiwan　Strait　visited　the　ancient　street　of　Yangloudong　built　in　Ming　and　Qing　Dynasties，　the　Black　Brick　Tea　Museum　and　the　modern　tea　ecological　industrial　park，　experiencing　in　person　the　achievements　of　the　integrated　development　of　intangible　cultural　heritage　tea－making　techniques　and　the　modernization　of　the　tea　industry．

Fan　Pingyang，　a　representative　of　Taiwanese　businesspeople，　said　that　Chibi　brick　tea　has　a　unique　flavor　and　profound　heritage．　He　will　plan　to　introduce　it　to　the　Taiwan　market，　allowing　more　compatriots　to　experience　the　aroma　of　Hubei　tea　and　continuously　enhance　the　friendship　between　compatriots　on　both　sides　of　the　Taiwan　Strait．

This　event　will　last　for　five　days．　Subsequently，　the　delegation　will　visit　multiple　places　in　Xianning　and　Wuhan　to　comprehensively　investigate　the　development　of　the　tea　industry　in　Hubei　Province，　the　integration　of　tea　culture　and　tourism，　and　the　innovative　achievements　of　intangible　cultural　heritage，　and　deepen　the　exchanges　and　cooperation　of　tea　culture　across　the　Taiwan　Strait．　（Xianning　Daily／Jian　Bo）
