On　October　16th，　the　17th　Games　of　Hubei　Province　came　to　an　end　in　Xiaogan　City．　The　delegation　from　Xianning　City　strictly　adhered　to　the　competition　style　and　discipline，　participated　in　the　competition　in　a　civilized　manner，　and　won　the　Sportsmanship　Award　for　their　excellent　performance　on　the　field．

During　the　concentrated　competition　stage　of　the　opening　and　closing　ceremonies，　the　city　selected　over　150　athletes　to　participate　in　10　events．　The　participating　events　include　youth　sports　school　group　football　（U16－U17　groups），　track　and　field，　swimming，　boxing，　fencing，　and　primary　and　secondary　school　group　basketball　（U13　group，　U14　group，　U15　group）．　For　the　mass　sports　category，　participants　took　part　in　the　ethnic　minority　group＇s　ethnic　fitness　exercises　and　high－foot　speed　races，　while　the　disabled　group　took　participate　in　table　tennis　and　badminton．　After　intense　competition，　they　won　a　total　of　5　gold　medals，　7　silver　medals，　11　bronze　medals　and　several　top　eight　rankings．

The　current　provincial　games　have　a　long　event　cycle　and　wide　coverage．　Since　the　start　of　the　mass　sports　（mass　group）　football　competition　in　December　2025，　the　city　has　sent　a　total　of　1，025　athletes　to　compete　in　64　major　events　across　two　categories：　youth　sports　and　mass　sports．　With　the　conclusion　of　all　the　events，　the　Xianning　delegation　won　a　total　of　19　gold　medals，　31　silver　medals　and　53　bronze　medals，　with　a　total　of　103　medals　and　a　total　score　of　1，203　points．

On　the　competition　field，　the　athletes　from　Xianning　were　not　afraid　of　strong　opponents　and　strived　to　be　the　first，　strictly　abided　by　the　competition　regulations，　fought　tenaciously　and　participated　in　the　competition　in　a　civilized　manner，　fully　demonstrating　their　solid　competitive　skills　and　an　energetic　and　positive　spirit．　（Xianning　Daily／Huang　Lanfen）
