At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Xianning Jiayu Experience Museum, the first open window of Xianning in central China, opened on East Lake West Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan.

The museum is built, managed and operated by Wuhan Chamber of Commerce, Jiayu County, including famous and excellent products exhibition area, city image display area, business activities service area. At present, there are more than 30 product suppliers and distributors in the museum, and more than 150 famous, special and excellent products are exhibited and sold there.

That day more than 200 Wuhan citizens entered the museum to experience Xianning flavor and buy Xianning specialty and food. The knock-out products and hot products, such as osmanthus products, brick tea and tea products, quality-assured grain and oil products, characteristic food, unique crafts, exquisite gifts, triggered citizens’ “desire to buy”.

According to Li Zhen, director of Xianning Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, building the open window of Xianning is one of 15 major industries, projects and events in the city and a best carrier to propagandize Xianning and further improve its recognition, popularity and reputation, opening a beautiful window for the people of the country to know the natural and cultural characteristics of Xianning, to buy famous brand high-quality products of Xianning, and to experience the image of Xianning opening to the outside world, and it also provides an effective market and a platform for communication for the city to better serve and integrate into the new development pattern, extend and expand high-quality development space.

From this year Xianning began to make full preparations for building open windows to the outside world, and it will gradually build up 15 open windows in major cities across the country by the end of this year. (By Zhu Yaping/Xianning Daily)
